Later on, my sons and I are gonna change the ring/pinion and spider gears in the 9" differential and go with a taller but slightly narrower set of slicks on the racecar.
They are gonna load it on the trailer and head out Thursday early morning to a strip in North Carolina where they are gonna each make about 3 passes and see which one of them can get it down around 9.80s- 9.70s and see if they can hit 145MPH. I wish I could go with them to talk them through some of the adjustments on the rear end but they seem pretty confident that they can do it.
