Five years later,59% of New Yorkers still frequently think of the Sept.11 terrorist attacks,compared to 50% of people in Washington,D.C., and 47% of the country as a whole.21% of New Yorkers worry that terroists will attack where they live,while just 18% of D.C. residents and 9% of all Americans have that fear.

After a two-week drive to highlight his administration's policies on Iraq and terrorism,President Bush has raised his approval rating to its highest point this year,at 44%. It was 39% two weeks ago.The increase was the product of formerly disgruntied Republicn voters ralling behind the president message.
