Bronco, Catfishing is ok there unless the waters up, then its great. Right now the Hocking River is the BEST place in Athens Co. to catch big Cats, Weve been catching really nice ones every time We go out , And thats about every weekend .We havent been catching lots, maybe 4 or 5 a night but they are all mostly over 7lbs. As far as bait , the two best We use are 1. Cut Bluegill, 2. Chicken Liver. If you ever wanna Hook up and do some catfishin , shoot me a PM, Thats if you can stand to fish with some Trimble Guys.LOL

When the waters up I still like to fish at Whites Mill. You can get some big Cats out of there.

Catfish were hittin good on the Hocking last night, We caught 4 fish , the first was a very nice 21lb Flattie, Then about 3 Leatherback turtles later We hooked into a nice 7lb Channel Cat, About 20 minutes later got a 4 lb Channel, Then nothing till 3 this morning, Hooked a nice 13 lb Flattie. Missed and lost a few more fish on the night . But overall a great night. All the fish were caught on cut bluegill
