Maple syrup

Post by Rusty Shackleford »

Anyone on here ever make maple syrup? I was going to make some this year but the weather has been to warm in my opinion. Actually bought stuff for a decent evaporator this year. Might just build it and just have it ready for next year.

I know what's wrong with it. It's a Ford. You know what they say Ford stands for, don't ya? It stands for 'Fix it again, Tony'.

I didn’t mess with making any this year. The weather never really was to my liking to collect sap. It was kind of a weird winter

I’ve seen it made and it takes a ton of sap to make a very small amount.

About 40 gallons of sap makes 1 gallon of syrup
