Favorite Worm Hook?

Post by kantuckyII »

What's your favorite brand of wormhook and style for fishing both worms and creature baits? For years I used Tru-turn and got away from them..went to the Owner Offset for a bit but I'm sure open to suggestions

I start using the hooks last summer too. They were the best hooks by far that wal-mart kept in stock and thats where I usually do most of my shopping.

I would have to agree with Ozzie on this one , those are some great hooks, I used to use Tru Turn all the time but the points of the hooks seemed to bend or dull way to easy .

I've always used Eagle Claw worm hooks. They've always worked well for me.

It always seemed to me that eagle claw hooks were thicker and heavier. I do use them when fishing for Monster cats on the Ohio river.

For Texas Rigging worms I like the Owner. For Texas rigging 4" lizards I like the Gamagatzu G-Lock or wide gap.

i've about always used eagle claws, but i like gamakatsu circle hooks with live bait, even bass fishing, i've never hada fish swallow a circle hook, it seems to catch bass right in the corner of the mouth, just as it was designed to do for catfish. try it. :aaaaa47
