tough conditions today it would have been! Just to stay out there for 8 hours would be impressive. I'll be surprised if they weighed in more than 2 fish (and depending on where they're at, could be less than that)

Lake Rupert, big bass was 5.13lbs there was 5 people with limits. I would say around 40 fish weighed in.

I was one of the 5 with a limit, I caught 23 bass yesterday. The biggest was 17,1/2 inches around a 2 1/2 pounder I finished 4th. There was some nice Bass caught considering the weather, and the fact that when we got to Lake Snowden there was 2 clubs starting there tournys and it was crowded. So we voted to go to Lake Rupert (I hate Lake Rupert) and got started an hour later then planned. I caught my biggest bass on the second cast. Lake Ruperts is a slot lake and you cannot keep any fish between 12 and 15 inches wich makes it tough. I had 2 fish that was 14 and 3/4 long and had to throw them back. Also had a couple that was 12 and 1/2 inches.

that's astounding! Never in my wildest imagination would I have ever believed that!
How large is the lake? is it hard to launch a boat into it?

Tycoon is 183 acres. When I get Bill Gates money, I am going to buy it and not let anyone else fish it but my close friends..could you imagine that lake with no one taking any bass out of it?! you know those crappie fishermen are raping it..despite the 18 inch size limit..heck, if I wanted to hide a body and get aways with murder, I'd just stuff it in my live wells! no way anyone is going to look in them!
they don't have a idle speed only thing on there for larger outboards?
no doubt that they potty was full..look at the bunch out there!

I dont understand why they dont let you go idle speed on lakes that can run 10 horse or less. Whats the difference?
