It's that secret radar that Kantuck said you had.
Nice fish. Good for you.

Hey Dowgg, did Ozzie share the bass sammiches from that 4 pounder with you? He sure got a rare picture there. You seldom see a bass and a sucker in the same picture.

I was at Barren River the last few days. I lost count of how many fish I caught. I only caught one large mouth before 1 in the afternoon, all smallmouth. Most weren't but about 11 or so inches long but..anyone who's gotten into small mouth knows what I'm talking about. The largest I caught yesterday was 17 inches (smallmouth) and I got about a 3lb large mouth. Most of the fish I caught through the day were like 12 to 14 inches but still? It was a great day and it poured the rain all day long and that made it even better as the lake was deserted in areas. I hate to see another human being anywhere around when I'm out.

Man, after spending those 8 days at Guntersville, my boat sure does look small. I think everyone down there has a boat between 21' and 23' long!
Oh well, mine is paid for (many years ago) and doesn't use near the gasoline that theirs'!
not to mention the YEARLY property tax you have to pay on your boat to get a license! mine is like 65 or so a year and it's now 13 years old. Could you imagine what a 50 grand Ranger would be to license over here? I talked to a guy at Yatesville last year that had Tennessee tags on his boat who told me that he actually bought a piece of property near a lake down there he loves to be able to license his boat there. He said that a lot of his payment is covered by his sales tax savings! that's crazy, huh?
