Your favorite way to cook fish
Let's here it guys. I know a couple of you on here might be grillmasters.
I'd love to cook some fish (even if it is just from the Kroger fishin' hole) and I want to know how some posters on here do it.

I like to dip it in 1 egg and milk stired together. Drop it in a Zip lock baggie with flour or corn meal add your favorite spices. Lemon pepper seasoning for me. Then fry it real slow in butter

I cook mine like OZ (bluegill, crappie my favorite) except catfish which I'll deepfry. Here's a link with all kinds to try for specific fish:

I DONT EAT BASS!!! Thats how I fry my TROUT and TROUT is the only fish I eat from the rivers and streams around here. Fry it nice and slow and when your done you can take the tail and shake the meat right off the bone.

I love trout. Texas Roadhouse serves it and I like it and if you're in the Smokies in Gatlinburg try "The Trout House". Their pan-fried trout is excellent. But I 've never fixed my own.

They have steaks and other stuff too and just about every way a trout can be fixed. It's on the left just as you head in to Gatlinburg going towards the mountains. Not very good parking. You'll probably have to find a parking garage and walk down to it.

If you cant take the tail and shake the meat right off the bone, then why did you even mention it?

Baked salmon.
Take your fillets lightly lemon pepper then smear mayonaise all over the meat.(skin down, this holds in moisture) 2 slices of bacon, 1 on each fillet(this tells you when it's done) a light coating of parmesan cheeze and wrap tightly in tinfoil. Bake @ 350 for 30-45 minutes and serve with a nice salad and baked potato.
Last time I was out there I was sickened by the look of the salmon at the grocery stores.....make sure the meat is pink..the pinker and firmer the better.

I'm leaving for Pike Lake for the weekend Friday morning.... but ANYTIME, ANY DAY after Sunday just give me a couple of hours notice and I'm ready.
Have you ever fished Pike Lake? Is there any reason for me to take ma fishin' stuff with me? I think it is only a 13 acre lake and I don't know if it is fished much or not.
Re: Your favorite way to cook fish
Where is it I think I have fished it. Is it out past longs retreat or in that area?
Near Bainbridge, I think.
