Wanting to get out and do some catfishing this weekend with my Brothers, Wanting to come down and try Greenup Dam,Or one of the others down that way. Anyone ever catfish there that could get me started in the right direction? Is there alot of Public places to fish, Places I should try , Places I should Avoid? Any Baitshop in the Area?

CAUGHT MY BIGGEST FISH THERE, 27 PD. FLATHEAD. ON A LIVE BLUEGILL. CUT UP , JUSS A LITTLE.

Did you do any good? If not get with me for your next trip down and ill meet with you if you like and show you a couple good holes to fish. I dont bank fish no more so I dont mind giving them up. LOL!!

We did pretty good , We actually went to Bellville locks and dams because we got a late start. Ended up with 17 fish. 12 Channels biggest being about 7lbs and 5 Flatties Biggest being 42lbs, caught by a first time fisherwoman LOL! I laughed my butt of at her trying to battle that fish.

me and 5 family members went to the dam in greenup about 3 years ago and braught 256 lbs of catfish home..
