Fresh water was 109 pound Catfish at Hickory Grove. Salt water a Shark the was 350 pounds.

The biggest Ive ever caught were

Fresh Water: 72lb. Flattie from the Ohio River, Bellsville Locks and Dam
Salt Water: 238lb. Shark caught of the coast of S.Carolina

anybody got a hot catfishing spots for early fall?

I'VE SEEN SOME HUGE FISH CAUGHT. BUT IN CLEARWATER FLORIDA ,I SAW A 14 FOOT SHARK CAUGHT FROM A PIER. I WAS TOO YOUNG TO REMEMBER WHAT KIND OF SHARK IT WAS.

I caught a 47 pound small mouth bass, and even took a picture of it for proof.


but when we docked the boat, the camera fell into the water, but I promise its true.

no, it realy was a bass,,,I just streched my arm, WAAYYYYY out there like Yopu and Boo do, so it looked like it was 47 pounds

Dad and I almost caught a giant catfish on the Guyandotte River between Man and Gilbert. The brute broke several trotlines over the years so we finally tied off on a bridge column with heavy duty chain. We had the catfish near our boat and were ready to land him when the bridge collapsed. I was 13 and will never forget that fish. I drawed a picture of him the next day, and it took two sheets

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- i know fisherman , are known as fibbers. but i told the exact amount. down to the ounce. i did not say 11.7 pound large mouth. or 112 pound flathead. i told the truth. the carp was the most impressive catch of all. i thought it was pushing 25, but the scales don't lie. i need a bigger largemouth. that is pitiful. but i've done very little fishing since 1984. the year a 22 pound block fell 77 feet , and hit the top of my hardhat. been pretty rough since then.
