anytime 6-8 hours before the tempature heats up around 8-10 degrees, around march 25th id say would be the best time to start catching crawlers.

I've heard they are starting to catch crappie, bass, and a few channel cats in the area lakes. Thought i saw some night crawlers during that last gully washer we had. I would already be hitting the dams but somebody in Marietta left their faucet running again it appears (seems to happen every March).......

Largemouth Bass are suppose to start biting frequently when the water tempature gets up to 51 degrees, I don't keep up with other types of fish though.

I went to Lake Guntersville last week. Got down there on Thursday and came back late Sunday.
We boated over 100 largemouth on Friday, more than 50 on Saturday and more than 30 on Thursday. There were 2 other boats with us, they all caught lots of fish.
Our average largemouth was 2-3 lbs, but I caught several over 4lb and another guy in our group caught 2 at 5lb each.
We should be looking at the bass moving up to shallow water in the next 2 weeks, as they are already on the nest in Alabama.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------i love lake guntersville, we were there last june 2nd through 10th, and killed them on buzzbaits, topwater frogs and crankbaits n swimbaits. according on the sun, and water clarity.grass equals bass, and guntersville has it everywhere.
