What lake in southeast Ohio do u like the best for crappie? I like tycoon lake.

i have heard good things about burr oak lake around athens, but have not had a chance to fish it. i like tycoon as well, every once in a while one of those crappie is actually a big ol bass.

Victor, Burr Oak has a Great Numbers population for Crappie, But not size, most of the fish are 7-8 inches long. Ive caught a few nices one and seen a few nice ones caught from there but they are few and far between.

My top 3 lakes would be

!. Rush Creek
2. Tycoon
3. Snowden
and Ill even throw in the Hocking River as a GREAT place to cat Crappie in the spring
