Finally some offense for the Tigers! The good: Lamb has 21 and Waginger has 10 in the 1st half. The bad: Lamb and Morton have 2 fouls. The ugly: Tigers have 12 turnovers in the 1st half.

GO TIGERS!!!

70 - 64 - IRONTON - FINAL
CONGRATS TO THE FIGHTING TIGERS -
Pointers - you pushed it all the way to the end - good game -great effort! You outscored the Tigers in all but the 1st qtr.
I think they said Ironton will play Piketon next - on Sunday, 3/8 at 3:45 at the Convo.

You're all very welcome - please also understand that I am listening to my radio, and that I have no control over or knowledge of how well or whether the webcast is working [I can't listen to both].

ttt - Ironton also had players ill, injured or otherwise absent - that's a fact of ANY given game for ALL teams.

Also, you gotta remember that the pointers were without their leading scorer and ball handler as he tore his ACL and sprained his MCL in thursdays game against Federal Hocking. He came out and warmed up with the team and looked fine on it but the coaching staff and his parents did not want him to further his injury so he did not play in this game, which i think would have made a huge difference considering he averages around 15+ a game.

Here's what Ironton was missing the last 8 games that they have played:

Irontons leading scorer when we lost him. I would say that he would have had an impact on the game also, but that's water under the bridge now.

Against:

Fairland..........19
Manchester......19....didn't play entire game Subs
Jackson..........6.....didn't play entire game Subs
Chillicothe.......25
Russell...........18....didn't play entire game Subs
Brookhaven.....11
Wheelersburg...18
Gallia Acad......8.....didn't play entire game Subs
Chesapeake.....21
Portsmouth......6
Jackson.........11
Zanesville........5
Chillicothe.......9
Ashland..........16

That's the games he played in.
