LOL.

Looked like a pretty good game between a few young teams. They'll get better as the year goes

How is Burg young? They have several seniors and juniors.

Valley is definitely young, no doubt about that.

This was a tremendous showing by Valley. I thought Burg was 20-30 points better but Coach Phillips won the coaching battle here by a landslide. They're gonna be dangerous by years end!

Coach Phillips definitely won the coaching battle. First time I have seen Burg this year and still disappointed in Ater. Just doesn't seem to be comfortable. Burg was making a run late in the third and he called a timeout and broke all the momentum.

Burg for sure still had "football arms" last night shooting the ball. Quite a few "hard" shots thrown up last night that clanged off the rim and backboard.

I think both teams will be fine down the stretch. Valley has some nice shooters that can keep them in any game with the three ball.

Burg will only get better and will be hard to defend once they start running and gunning. Have to agree with Vincent chase in that Burg did have a big run going and then coach calls a timeout. The game was on the verge of becoming a blowout and he stopped all momentum, also don't understand why Burg didn't just hold the ball up top and force Valley to play man defense. No way they could matchup with Burg yet they were allowed to stay in the zone. I remember a game Burg played Gallipolis one year and Burg held the ball for the entire 3rd qtr. 4 total points were scored in the quarter. It forced Gallia to play man in the 4th qtr and Burg won going away.

Liked Holden handling the ball but he does need to shoot a little more. When he got dribble penetration he was either able to make the shot or pass off for an easy layup.

Tanner Bivens was on fire the first half scoring at least 15-17 of Burg's 28 halftime points and then I'm not even sure he took a shot in the 2nd half. Didn't understand that. He has a smooth jumper in the lane which he was able to get into against Valley's zone.

What a luxury for a first year head coach to have an assistant like Kyle Copley on your bench.
