Oak Hill Basketball Banquet Open to Public

It starts at 6:00 pm tonight (from the school website) and is open to all of the public to come. Come out and congratulate these fine young athletes on their accomplishments over the course of this 2008-2009 season.

Good for them, congratulations!! However I noticed South Webster is playing Oak Hill in Baseball tonight. What does that do to the Oak Hill team and what do the players do? I have always hated sports banquets from the Winter take away a kid that is playing a spring sport. Not fair to them if you ask me. Seems to me the logical thing would be have the banquet on a Sunday afternoon, but logic doesn't always win out in these situations. I am not saying they should not be honored!! I just think a day that doesn't interfere with spring sports should be picked in these situations.

Not sure what they will do but I'd say most of the kids would pick the banquet over the game in this situation.

i heard crabtree doing a hog roast for the banquet.... count me in for sure.

Is there going to be food served? If so I'm not eating dinner! especially if it's crabtree!
