Re: SHL 2011-2012
From what i understand Eastern Brown's Brett Stout was known to be injured and expected to be back mid-season, has decided not to play to prevent a permanent injury. Tough break for Mr. Stout and for the Warriors. I figured he would be a major contributor come tournament time. Between him and the Hauke kid, Beucler now has two potential starters not playing. I look for the Doss kid to step up and fill a bigger role than expected. Warriors look to be very guard oriented.

From what I understand he has decided not to play, and wants to focus on soccer.

So I heard that Manchester beat Felicity in their foundation game. Anyone have the exact score?

... sounds like Eastern Brown is taking some hits in personnel BEFORE the season even gets underway!!! wow!!! have them ranked in the Elite 8 PreSeason Rankings but now without 2 starters ... will need to keep watch on EB early on in the season to see if they truly are elite material ...

Someone at the game told me varsity won 60-25 and JV lost 46-44. I'd like to know what the score was for their scrimmage against Notre Dame if anyone knows?TribeManiac10 wrote:So I heard that Manchester beat Felicity in their foundation game. Anyone have the exact score?
Re: SHL 2011-2012
The score on the Manchester/Felicity Foundation game that was posted was actually the score after 3 quarters. The final was something like 74 to 44.
The totals on MHS for last year after all games was that MHS averaged 65.04 points per game and Ricketts had 117 assists and 92 turnovers. I am from Manchester and would rate he and Arey as both very good players and have not problems with your assessment.

IMO Manchester, Eastern Brown, and Peebles looked like the 3 best teams. Travis Combs had the best game of anyone on the night. Also, it was easy to tell Quintin Williams ran the show for Fairfield.

... What did WhiteOak and North Adams look like at the Preview ... these two open their season on 12/2 playing at WhiteOak is this one worth a 2 hour road trip?

Whiteoak and North Adams will both be decent teams. WO is not as strong as they were last season and North Adams struggled to beat a mediocre Fayetteville squad. Honestly, I would not drive that far....but there are few games that I would drive that far for lol. They will both be near the middle of their divisions in the SHL this season.pfloyd wrote:... ... that's what I was thinking too TribeManiac10 ... I WILL make the trip to the West side of Rte.23 on Dec 9th however to take in the Peebles vs Manchester matchup ... I need to see both of those teams early on in the season to make some comparisons down the road ... thanks TM10

Hard to base much on the preview guys....I definitely expect Whiteoak and NA to be sleeper teams. From what I heard, Whiteoak looked like a different team in their foundation game Saturday beating Batavia by double digits...TribeManiac10 wrote:Whiteoak and North Adams will both be decent teams. Batavia has been pretty bad the last few years though...and North Adams got beat by Georgetown in a foundation game a few days ago by about 25pts.theuglytruth wrote:Hard to base much on the preview guys....I definitely expect Whiteoak and NA to be sleeper teams. Great to see Travis have that kind of game given the circumstances. Quality young man from a quality family and I wish them the best.streetballer wrote:combs played his heart out at the preview game..he will be hard for any team the hounds play against to stop...arguablly one of the best players in southern ohio
