Xenia Vs. Chillicothe 12/5

Post by datchillicav »

What do both squads bring to the table Saturday night? Anyone know anything about Xenia or seen them in the past? How have the Cavs looked in scrimmages?

Chillicothe brings to the table Senior Point Guard Michael Turner who is a all round great player and will be very hard to stop...

Where are all the Chilli fans? I know they all went to JJ's this year for some reason but I figured they would come back here after that debacle. Hasn't happenned and they aren't on the free JJ forum either? Did football season kill all Chillicothe spirit in everyone or is this just the qiet before the season starts because everything that can be said has been said?

WIP. Work in progress... If this team listens to their coaches great things could happen. This team will be fun to watch as the season goes on.

Xenia will bring a very experienced squad into Chillicothe tomorrow night. Coach K. always schedules tough competition and this game will be no different. The Young Cavs will be very interesting to watch. With very little returning experience (playing time wise) and most of the scoring punch gone from last year, this time will have to develop its own identity. Last year we had tremendous experience with two 4 year starters and an excellent Senior group. This years team will be fun to watch, but we will have to be patient with them.

All the Cavs faithful need to come out and support the boys tomorrow night. We had a tough time on the gridiron this year, but it is HOOPS time.

GO CAVS!!!

34-24 Chillicothe at the half. Mike Turner has 16 pts. and 4 steals at the half. Game could be a lot worse but Chillicothe has too many mistakes. Chillicothe could be a very good team -the mistakes!

Xenia was an alright team but the score should have been more lopsided. The Cavs had 29 turnovers the whole game! With the amoiunt of turnovers you would think it woould be a loss but not tonight. Mike Turner finished with I believe 26 pts and 4 steals. He was perfect from the field and could not miss. Malik had two monster dunks. Zach Johnson(freshman) came of the bench and played very well! Overall I think the Cavs are very talented but they need to eliminate some mistakes...Logan Elm will eat us up if we have the same mistakes next week....Cavs are 1-0....good job fellas!
