Northwest @ Wheelersburg 12/11
Re: Northwest @ Wheelersburg 12/11
If Northwest can play like they did against Clay they will win, but Kreig's 3's must be on or the inside threat of Hank could shut down.
Go Mohawks!!!

Should be a great game! If anyone was at the Burg vs. Northwest game last year, Burg won on a Leslie over the head toss to the bucket that rimmed out...I think Burg has a better line-up than Northwest and maybe a little deeper on the bench, still a close one. Burg by 5 or less.

I see Burg winning by around 7 or 8 close all the way maybe even a little bit less but I hope Northwest could come out and beat the Burg

If Leslie gets Stegman in fould trouble....northwest will win. If Stegman gets Leslie in foul trouble, Burg will win. Bendolph and his ability to penetrate should give Burg the advantage.
Re: Northwest @ Wheelersburg 12/11
Burg Will win either way. They will win by a bigger margin if you get keslie in foul trouble. Either way burg walks off with a win!

Re: Northwest @ Wheelersburg 12/11
Before the season I would have said Northwest had no chance. However because of some players not playing and injuries, I would say that Northwest has a chance to pull this one out if they play well. Northwest has not lived up to their hype the past couple of years and they need this one to make a statement if nothing else. Good luck to both teams. I will still have to say Burg in a close one.

Re: Northwest @ Wheelersburg 12/11
With Burg being down some due to injuries I feel Northwest can come away with this one if --1. they can keep stegman under 15 points, 2. Don't let Bendolph penetrate the middle cause that will break down the D entirely, 3. Pressure them all night and make them work to score and don't be afraid of their jersey!, 4. Take smart shots and don't try to run up and down with them, 5. make sure the scoring is balanced like it was against clay.....this will be a huge test for the Mohawks early on and I feel like this is the year they can come away with one at Burg.
i'll go

IMO: Stegman is going to have to be the leader in this one. He needs to finish his shots under the bucket in order to give Burg a chance. Foul trouble could play a factor too. Had Kemper played he would be guarding leslie, but now it has to be stegman. This should be interesting.

Should be a good game. Can the Mohawks slow down Bendolph? Can Burg stop the
Mohawks perimeter shooting? The inside game for both teams will be even. This game is a toss up.

Leslie and Stegman match up really well, so which ever player's supporting cast shows up is who is gonna get the win. I'd have to think that Northwest doesnt have the talent tevel of guard play that the Pirates do, but if Crabtree can show up like he did against Clay, it might be a different story. Good Luck to both teams!
