I was thinking this game was on Friday, but I'm not sure. Maybe someone else can help us out, Spartan.

No disrespect intened, but when you play smaller schools from the Mid State League like Fairfield Union you should win. These wins will not help when tournament time comes around. Logan needs to upgrade there schedule. Again I predict a record of 11-10 at best!

How many days until football starts!

No disrespect intended, But Fairfield Union is D2 and have year in and year out played Logan very tough. Logan isnt Columbus Northland or Brookhaven pounding on Trimble, that game was a game vs 2 very well matched teams. Logan's win vs FU was a total team effort. Dont take away from a great win.

Some people just do not look things up before they post.

Please correct if I am wrong, in basketball Logan is a D1 school and should be playing at least some teams they will face in the tounament. I never take away anything student athletic effort, my criticsm is with the schedule makers!

You might want to check your facts Lancaster was a state champs back in the mid 60's, I think that was the team with Rex Kern on it, maybe you young turkeys where not even around! They made it to the final 4 under Jack Greathouse, by the way an outstanding coach! Back to tonight's game I would be surprise if the Chiefs win look for a close game at the swamp.Good luck to our young men!

Lancaster a state champ? Did I miss this game?

1966 Under Coach George Hill they were beat by Toledo Libbey in the Simi Finals
1991 Under Coach Jake Greathouse they were beat by West Chester Lakota in the Simi Finals
2006 Under Coach John Cofman they were beat by Trotwood Madison in the Simi Finals

... I think LoganGrad gets his "facts" from Al Gore LOL ...

Fairfield Union has 241 boys NOT 360 while Logan DOES have 453 according to the last enrollment figures turned into OHSAA ... Logan HAS very close to DOUBLE the number of boys in their athletic pool ... as far as Newark and Lancaster ? the last I checked neither Lancaster or Newark had a win in the 2009-10 season in hoops ...

Dave, Please remember that was the mid 60s and we all might have seen things in a fuzzed state of mind! thanks for the info, Lancaster has had some great coaches.

... as far as tonight's game vs Jackson - if we go with past performances by the Ironmen when coming to Logan - it's Logan by 20 or so ... TJ Colegrove has proven himself the solid, under control, "director" of the "Havoc Ball" attack ... quick, gets into the paint anytime he wants, sets up the perimeter shot with his penetration, AND can hit the outside shot ... very impressed with his defensive effort full court, very disruptive to opposing teams trying to get into any flow on the offensive end ... I see a big game for the Logan newcomer as he leads the Purple to yet another double figure W vs the Ironmen at Jim's Gym tonight ...
