If peake is as good as everyone's saying they should win this one easily.
They got Copley back, and Ive heard good things about the transfer they got.
but the two times I've read about them they've lost.
I'd like to watch them and see how they really play.

I think Chesapeake will use their size to grind down the Redmen. I expect big games from Saunders, McMasters, and Kennedy.

This should be a better game than everyone's expecting. Tempo-control is going to be huge. Obviously Peake is the favorite, but being favorite adds pressure. And as we all know, pressure makes rubble.(and/or diamonds). So, let's see how this one plays out. ^^

Chesapeake looked pretty tough, Rock Hill won't win another game uless they learn how to play team ball. Very disappointing play by the Hill.

Wow, Did not see this turn out. Coach Davis completely dismantled RH's offense. RH came out flat, and cold as ICE! Couldn't buy a basket, and on the other hand Peake couldn't miss. This game got very ugly, very fast. As for this comment above-- Your goofy. "Rock Hill won't win another game"..please! We are all extremely, extremely disappointed, but honestly? haha. RH will be fine. Although this will be a tough character test. I see them moving on. This wasn't the team we've been watching for the past few weeks (scrimmages, and games). Usually those shots are falling, and usually the guards handle the pressure much better. But that didn't happen tonight. Put the L in the record books, and look forward to RV. ...."won't win another game"...

As for Peake- Very impressive. Their ball pressure is over-whelming. Shooting was accurate, and consistent. Copley is a very impressive player, he has a bright future, imo. After Cooke fouled out, Kennedy really went to town on the offensive end. This team as a whole crashes the boards like crazy. The effort, and energy was good the whole game through. I really like what Coach Davis has done, and he is a VERY good coach for this program. Only buggaboo I had, was the press in the 4th quarter. No mercy style, kicking a team when their down. Gotta start to question the character in that.

But hopefully RH will be back on their game, when you head to their house! But according to slider, their still only have 2 wins in that column, so... bahaha! Good luck down the road to both Redmen, and Panthers! :122245 :122245

Perhaps Peake had a REASON to keep the heat on while having a big lead. Peake was coming off losses to two very good teams, & perhaps Davis felt that letting up contributed to those losses, especially against Ironton, over whom they'd had the lead, and Rock Hill became the sacrificial lamb of their fury.

I didn't see the Fairland-Coal Grove game, but it appears CG had a big lead & Fairland came back handily on them. Dunno if CG let up or not, but letups can be FATAL to any basketball team.

ARE YOU KIDDING ME THE SCORE WAS 72 TO 29 FULL COURT PRESS TO THE END OF THE GAME IS RUNNING UP THE SCORE !!!!!! ROCKHILL HAD MAYBE 2 STARTERS IN THE WHOLE 4 Q.

Maybe it was payback for the 7th grade game monday when rockhill was up 20 with 30 seconds left and called 2 timeouts to run plays instead of letting the clock run out.Rockhill didnt have some of there starters in because they were wore out.As the great ones have said many times if you dont want the score run up on you bring a better team.

Rock Hill looked better in the 4th qtr with the starters out anyway. I just think Chesapeake wanted to make a statement that they're the ones to beat in the ovc coming off their losses and it just happened to be Rock Hill. I doubt it was payback.

STARTERS FOR ONE WAS NOT WORE OUT 1 FOUL OUT AND COACH GAVE UP BECAUSE GAME WAS LOST IN THE FIRST HALF AND 7 GRADE BASKETBALL HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH HIGH SCHOOL BUT I'M GLAD PEAKE FANS AGREED THAT THE SCORE WAS RUN UP.

In reference to the 7th grade, the score wasn't ran up.If anything the coaches took the kids out of the kind of ball they are use to playing when they went into the 2-3 zone, and walked the ball up the floor. The final score should show that shaynew doesn't have good info or was mislead by someone else!I think the final was 42-30..44-32?Reference to the junior high ovc scores to check the final...........I highly doubt that the varsity coach was thinking of the 7th grade game when he was coaching his game!

INFIELD

if your so mad about Chesapeake scoring so much why dont you tell the hill to man up and stop someone. Its not their fault that rock hill sucks.I know how to stop chesapeake from running up the score on your redmen.

All you have to do is to forfeit the game or just END basketball all together up there so we dont have to hear you whine about this again

Grow up this is SPORTS not not a freakin tea party you have to have thick skin everyone will go through something like this.
