This is a rivalry game. Anything can happen. Coach Moore had his club ready for sure. The Buckeyes and the Tomcats battled the entire way. The Buckeyes will bounce back. Congratulations Cats!!!!!!!!

Orange and Brown wrote:That was a fun game to watch. NY turned the ball over way to many times. At times you would have thought there were 5 Jason Kids on the court for NY, They gotta learn to take shots when they are there. I really wasn't impressed with Guthries performance though. The young man was sucking wind in the 2nd period. He can score inside and had a good height advantage but wasn't real athletic. Maybe he was just having an off night. Hats off to Trimble on a great job. They were the better team tonight. :122245

Didn't I read on another thread that NY's front line is 6'3, 6'4, 6'5? How tall is this Guthrie kid? He must have grown since last year. I am 6'4 and when I talked to him last year we were looking eye to eye. Must have hit a growth spurt?

N/Y had no one that was 6'5"....Kline is the tallest and is 6'3" at best. Guthrie is 6'6".

If Guthrie is 6'6" he has grown two inches since last year. Now I am not arguing that he wasn't measured at that height with his shoes on and stretching up to his toes. But, unless he grew since last year, he is not 6'6" in his bare feet.

pbuck wrote:Yeah ur right about NY has no one to guard Guthrie I guess Dexter who's 6'3 Bunting 6'4 and Kyle Moore 6'4 also Daniel Kline is 6'5 can't guard him plus NY plays a matchup zone your right bluegrassvike

Also, according to this post, there is some debate about the height of the players involved. I was not at the game, nor have I ever been close enough to these players to give an opinion either way.

Guthrie is a legit 6'6". I saw him at the VC game and he was much taller than VC's Guthrie who is 6'3"-6'4". So I guess he has grown. The ones who have grown are the NY boys. WOW! 6'3" 2 that are 6'4" and a 6'5" guy. I think people on here forget that we can actually watch the games. tomcat fan is right there may be a 6'3" guy on this team but thats it.

I will accept that Guthrie is taller than last year. As for the NY players, I only know what is posted, cause I have not seen them up close.
