TY, Did you happen to know any of the stats from the freshman game? Was wondering how Tim Allen did tonight, for VC.

The VC must have played better tonight. Now averaging 71PPG and giving up 55PPG.
I hope Hawkeye has some stats for us.

VC started out on an 8-2 run and from that point I never felt Belpre had a chance. The Eagles pulled within 3 a few times in the game, but i never had the feeling they were going to win. IMO Belpre had a bad game plan. Tried to run with VC and the Vikes took full advantage. Belpre was in foul trouble the entire game because their players were gassed after the 1st quarter. Belpre played hard but seemed to be out of control the entire game. No set plays, just seemed like it was a free for all. Tate is a nice player, but other than him the Eagles have no one to shoot the ball. Not sure of his name but # 23 must have shot around 8 3's and none of them were even close to goin in. The score was actually closer than the game Vc will win by at least this margin when they come to McArthur, even with Sims. Vc is just a better team and coached much, much better. Great win for the Vikes way to start tis years TVC run.

Just got back from this cage match called a basketball game. VC dominated this game and BHS is lucky the score wasnt much worse than it was. Vinton played very well several players scored they were just entirly too deep for Belpre. I think Grillo had 23 and Guthrie had 15&15. Belpre's players were out of control. No set offenses the coach hardly moved all night. If he hadnt have scartched his junk in the 3rd I wouldve called the squad cause I thought he may have died. Several hard fouls, but the worst was the one by Tate.....VERY VERY CHEAP! THE WORST THING ABOUT IT THE REFS DIDNT CALL IT!!! He clearly was tring to make a staement because he just comitted the foul and walked off the court. Way to go Eagle staff thats class! One would think the Eagles would learn about walking off the court considering what happened the other night. This team has absolutly no direction or control. The entire team just ran around like they were on a playground. There is at least 1 player on that team that has no business starting. I wont mention any names but it reminded me of Saul Smith of Kentucky a few years ago. The sad thing is they DO have talent, but no one to direct it.

As I've said in the past new coach same attitudes. Nice win for the Vikings. Should be a good won when the Bulldogs and Vikes get together.

Hats off to the vikings last night! They play well together and find ways to score. For belpre it was a tough loss because it was a tvc conference game. Also hats off to slattery who came in during the second quarter and played his heart out. Sims was missed terribly in this game.
