Agreed. I've seen both teams play and both are impressive. Granted, I've seen eastern more...but still. I'm going to take the eagles in a close one by 11. Close down the stretch with the eagles pulling it to 11 with late-game free throws. Too bad we have to wait almost a week to see!

gh123 ... that's one of the reasons I am heading for A'town - I WANT to see EHS during the season ... I KNOW the Green and White of Coach Caldwell IS a quality team - that's all Howie puts on the floor ... hard to move them into the Elite 8 with only the one "quality" win vs Huntington ( and Huntington lost to Unioto by 5 last night) ... a "GOOD" showing either coming out with a W or even a "GOOD" loss helps the Eagles when I get to see them play in person ... I'm looking forward to a cheap seat view of this one ... good luck to both of these teams ...

Just got word that I will in fact be in McAfee Gymnasium on Tuesday as well Floyd ... I figured I wouldn't see ya for awhile after last Friday ... so I wanted to get all the hoops talk I could possibly cram in Friday during the 20 minutes that we spent discussing area basketball ...

Wow, so basically after not seeing the infamous Floyd for years - I get to obsorb his hoops expertise twice in a matter of seven days ... I guess it really is X-mas time.

The Bulldogs coming off a big week turn around and host a very good and undefeated Eastern team. I am taking the Bulldogs in this one. Shake off that holiday fat and get ready to go back to work and prepare for the upcoming showdown.
As far as opponents, the edge has to go to Athens in this one.
