If Nelsonville plays a 3-2 defense to guard against all the three's Federal takes and pushes the ball up the floor since Federal doesn't get back on defense I'd go with Nelsonville in this one.

Think this could be closer than we think.....if both teams show up, could be a close one. I will be pullin' for the Bucks, but will take Fed by 5.

After a GREAT start by NY, the Bucks have hit a bump in the road with back to back CLOSE losses to a very underestimated Trimble team, and Amanda after a long layoff. The Bucks NEED this win as they are kicking off a stretch that will determine just how good these hardwood Bucks are!

Fed Hock is no gimmie, although I think the Bucks can pull it out, and will pull it out. NY has good size and can play defense as they only give up 46.5 ppg. Fed Hock on the other hand scores 53.4 ppg. I think Fed will be somewhere inbetween those two numbers. As for NY, they score 52.8 ppg and Fed Hock allowes 54.8 ppg.

Number wise NY has a slight edge on the defensive side of the ball which is why I'll take the Bucks in this one... 55-51.

The Buckeyes cannot look past Federal Hocking, and it will show if they are peeking down the schedule...as NY is in its toughest stretch all season.

After Fed Hock, NY has...

Athens Away- If the Bucks pick up the win against Fed, they will be setting at 5-2 overall and remain 2-0 in the league...Athens has clearly positioned themselves as the front runner early on this season but NY is the only other team will zero losses in the TVC...A win by the Dogs, and everyone is playing catch-up...a win by the Bucks and they take over as the favorite thus far. NY has a great chance in this game...imo. They have size and i think they can play Athens (slow down) game. Should be a great one in A-town.

Belpre Home- Belpre has kind of fallin back a little after jumping out to a good start early on. With 3 straight losses coming into this contest, Belpre is basically fighting for their TVC championship hopes. I think Belpre however is a much different team away from home and NY will win this one as well.

Finall NY ends this brutal stretch hosting the 3 time defending TVC Champions...

Vinton County Home- NY can and must slow the pace against the Vikings. I think NY's size will be a key factor for them as VC has had struggles gainst teams with a size advantage. If NY can make shots when they need to I feel they will have a great opportunity to win this game. But...being the homer I am...lol...ill take the Vikings in a close one!

IF NY can run through this part of the schedule unblemished....wow...The Bucks would definatly have to be considered the favorite in the league...If NY can win 3 out of 4...I think they still will be in position to win or at least share the league...Either way..congrats to NY on such a fine start to the year as not very many people saw this coming...Way to go fellas!

You know what athens78??? I have come to the conclusion that you are a miserable person. You must not have much of a life to have to entertain yourself by the constant put downs you post. Does it make you feel better about yourself? You have nothing good to say about Fed Hock and quite frankly, you are pushing it with your constant negative comments directed at YOUNG MEN. Did FH beat you so bad at one time that you just can't get past it or what??? Man up and tell us all what your deal is! The school is FEDERAL HOCKING, the team is called the LANCERS...can you not spell them correctly? Is that why you resort to the name calling worthy of a 4 year old? Grow up....

GOOD LUCK LANCERS!

I agree Lancer Fan - I honestly think that Athens 78 must have coached a biddy league team that his little "Tommy" was on and the Lancer teams must have beat them every year - maybe even a Lancer team that was younger and was playing up a grade???

Don't know why Athens78 continues to knock Fed Hock, but I really think he ought to stay on the Athens thread and keep his poison there (oh, none of the Athens people like him either...)

There is one other undefeated team in the TVC....the Buckeyes.

Come on guys, read his other posts, Athens 78 is much more of a critic than he is a fan of the Bulldogs.

Don't take his posts and run with them when you know better.
