Well, the Jeeps get a wake up call. Got to be ready to play every game for 4 quarters. Especially in the SOC II.

Great defensive effort by the Indians tonight. Utley was hot again from 3 and Yates was able to get to the bucket and make things happen. BJ Coleman's play in the post was the difference maker in the first half. I would love to see Valley keep feeding the ball inside to him and Dwyer, because those boys bring an aspect that Valley desperately needs. The Scott kid from Webster is a very solid PG, and Webster has some good athletes. Webster didn't quit and forced Valley to keep making plays... I wouldn't exactly call them "fluke 3s" though, but some tough shots.

As for the cheer block stuff... I couldn't help but laugh a little. Both sides were chanting back and forth, and even the Scott kid was blowing kisses to the cheer block after making some big 3s. Nothing overline, IMO. When I played we had a great cheer block that always loved to poke jabs at the opposing team or cheer block, and I remember being on the recieving end of that many times myself. If that stuff gets to you then your taking life and the game a litte too serious.

Also, Valley's response to "whats your record?" was "Scoreboard, scoreboard, scoreboard"

Waverly is such a tough matchup for Valley. Getting Martin and Roback in foul trouble and getting higher percentage shots is something Valley really needs to do this time around against Waverly. Looking forward to it.

Good win. Scott and Queen played well. The cheer blocks are all in good fun. The kids go back and forth. The players seemed into it. I believe the utley boy winked or blew a kiss at websters cheer block. The scott boy said something. Nothing bad. Valley could not miss, webster did. Congrats to the yates boy and utley on a great game.

Being the best game in the area tonight I decided to take in this game. I was not disappointed in the game. Was very impressed with Valley and South Webster. Yates and Utley can both really play for Valley. The Scott kid from Webster played a very good game, smart player on the offensive end. He took the ball to the hole on numerous times when Yates got into foul trouble for Valley.

One question for Webster fans. Does SW play full court defense like that for the whole game every game. It did not work at all tonight for them but they kept doing it. Yates broke the pressure easily on every possesion. IMO, which isn't much, why did they continue to do it when it was clearly not working. It lead to many easy baskets for Valley.

Again, glad I took this game in and good luck to both teams the rest of the year.

IDK what was in the air tonight but the 3 balls weren't dropping for Webster tonight, or another shot for that matter. Queen and Scott were the only ones making anything the whole game.

I'll say that when Webster goes to Valley, expect a beatdown by the Jeeps.

no they don't press all game every game, but they do do it quite a bit, Ater will fix up a game plan for the next match up.

get in the front row next time and you can probably hear better.
