Re: Coal Grove @ Symmes Valley
Coal Grove is having a very solid season. If I remember correctly, Eastern Pike beat them last season. It is tough to win at Symmes Valley. I will pick the vikings to win by 5 pts and represent the SOC1 well. I also predict the "little General" will get T's up and his face will glow a bright red color...lol

I'm taking symmes valley in this one as well. Should be a good game. I'll go SV by 6.
Re: Coal Grove @ Symmes Valley
This will be a tough one for the Grove. I hope they have something left, because I watched them sacrifice arm and leg tonight against RH. Should be a good game. Damron needs to get alot of touches in the post. He's a good athlete that can finish quite nicely. If CG pounds the post I see this being a dog fight, with CG pulling away at the end. If CG shoots jumpers, SV will pick them apart and take a 12-15pt win. Rebounding on both D and O end will be huge for both teams, and probably the deciding factor.

Final score SV 63 CG 47. Very physical game. Both teams played very hard. Keep up the good work Vikings. It's hard to play with the opponents elbow in your face, good job keeping your composure and your heads in the game. I'm proud of you all.

SV Played hard and deserved this win, their were a lot of players on the SV team that stepped up tonight. Tibbs was explosive and Johnson Played a great game along with a host of Vikings making shots and grabbing rebounds, Craft, Taylor, Payne all with outstanding games. With that being said, Coal Grove played cheap and dirty. Their players need a lesson in how to play basketball in a sportsman like manner. Also the officials did a terrible job (I'm a fan of the winning team if that says anything).

Re: Coal Grove @ Symmes Valley
Mr. Tibbs had a heck of a game tonight scoring 34 pts and Luke Taylor was impressive on the boards. The officials did let the game get out of control early and both teams played physical and hard. IMO when the incident in the second qt happened I thought a double foul should have been called. Tibbs just had one of those nights where he was feeling it and his teammates fed him the ball . He has the best fall the way jumper I have seen in high school. He is a scoring machine and needs to keep on shooting.

And you expected different from CG? lol Their a football school who just play hard on a basketball court, and make things happen. That's their style of play in trying to make you lose your composure. If there were one trademark thing I could stamp to CG, it would be the screen with the elbows straight out by the opponents face. Which really should be called every time, but for some unknown reason...it never is!

As for Tibbs...34points?! nice!

sounds like a heck of a game.
next up for CG is my Dragons, and we will beat them once again..and will be just as physical, hopefully the refs call this game better because it is at CG.

It really doesn`t ....................unless you are an evaluator of officials. I really doubt that you are or you probably wouldn`t be putting that on here.

Great game Vikings. Talk about a team effort. Very physical which the officials allowed for some reason. JV game was just the opposite. Ten plus fouls in the first three minutes.
Tibbs was hot. Best game he has played all year. Johnson, Taylor, Payne, Craft, Brock, and Stanely all came to play last night. I would like to see Johnson take it to the hoop more but that is just me.
Wow, what a game. If we would have played like that against East or Clay the SOC would not be up for grabs right now.
Love our Vikings but our popcorn is still the pits in the SOC! Toss the popcorn and eat the bag.
