Re: Clay @ East 02-10-2010
Clay is on their way there so I assume they will be playing. Main roads are clear and no significant snow is predicted. I am assuming this won't be homecoming night????

Re: Clay @ East 02-10-2010
This just in, THE GAME HAS NOW BEEN CANCELLED. Clay was going thru a pre game run thru and the AD came in and announced that they have now decided to cancel the game.
Re: Clay @ East 02-10-2010
East keeps cancelling this game. Back roads must be bad because the main roads and Rosemount hill were all clear last night. Both teams could have used another win before tournament draw, but this game will be after the draw now and won't matter as much.

Well for now the game is still on but I have a feeling East will cancell again
Re: Clay @ East 02-17-2010
It looks like this game is on for tonight. East could have the edge on this game due to the fact it is in their gym but Clay boys are all healthy as far as I know. I think this will be a close one.
Re: Clay @ East 02-17-2010
Clay played really well against Green last week with Delotell getting the hot hand, then Saturday night Bussler played well in the loss to Valley, so they are starting to play better team ball and work the ball to the hot shooter. With 5 boys scoring around 10 ppg they are hard to shut down. I will pick Clay by 12 at 70 to 58.

Heard on the radio Clay won 85-74. Clay sonded like they had a big 4th qtr to pull out the victory
Re: Clay @ East 02-17-2010
The game tonight was hard fought. Clay was hitting their shots with 4 boys in double digits. Bussler with 28 and Burchett with 24, Delotell with 15 and Valentine with 11 or 12. East did well on shooting also.
Clay plays Notre Dame on Friday and SWebster on Sat. Good Luck Panthers! Stay healthy for the tournaments.

CLAY 19 21 17 28 FINAL 85
EAST 20 14 13 27 FINAL 74
It was raining three's tonight inside East's gym. 17 total threes were made, 10 by Clay (10-15 @67%) and 7 by East
(7-21@33%). For Clay. For Clay Bussler hit 5 of 9, Burchette 2 of 3, Valentine 2 for 2 and Delotell 1 for 1. Clay shot 28 of 59 (28%) from the field to East's 27 or 69 (39%). Clay pulled away in the fourth quarter by 19 points at 71 - 52, but East wasn't going down easy and hit a few big shots and a couple of And-1's to cut the lead to as close as 7 points, but Clay stalled the ball and forced East to foul. Clay converted on their foul shots to pull away and win by 11. Overall a really well played game by both teams. TO's were even at 15 for Clay and 16 for East, most due to the small size of the court. There's just no where to run on a 78 foot court. Bussler ended the night with 28 points a season, team and personal high, Burchette with 24, the same as his last game against East, Delotell scored 15, Valentine put in 12 and Porter got 6. If Clay can keep playing like this thru the tournament, they should see the Convo floor, but those threes are a fickle thing. Any team that can hit 10 - 15 from the three is going to do well. Lets just hope they can keep it up.

I think this ties them with Green for 2nd place in the SOCI, I am not sure of Symmes Valley's record, so it may even be a three way tie. Green still has Eastern and Clay has ND left.

Watched this game last night and if these 2 teams were in the SHL they wouldn't have won a game yet.

Whatever Hound Dog. 85 points in a high school game and going 10 for 15 from the 3 point line and 49% from the field will win you a lot of games. I'm assuming you were scouting for Manchester and are just trying to talk some smack. That will all be settled Tuesday night.
