AP Poll 2/15
Re: AP Poll 2/15
Peebles moved up more than I thought they would...I'm surprised Ironton only got 56 points.

Way to go Peebles, Logan Elm, Athens, Oak Hill, Ironton, and Eastern! Jchitwood, after the two teams in front of us lost it was probably hard to justify keeping a 17-0 team at #9. Looks to me like the Tribe has a good shot at moving up one more spot before tourny if they can stay undefeated. It seems like Logan Elm has been in the 10 spot all season.

It's just that the SE is the Rodney Dangerfield of Ohio basketball: we get no respect.

I actually like not getting respect because it's great to spit in the faces of those that looked down on us all year when we make them look bad. My sentiments exactly to the BCS (except the B-10). Go Southeast!

However, the Southeast Champion in D2 has a huge chance to run into #3 Desales. I saw them in person and... wow.

bman wrote:^ Yes, I watched DeSales, too, and they're a very nice team.
I watched them at Wellston. They are extremely athletic. Griffin is VERY quick and Kellogg is a tough matchup for anyone. They are not a huge team though, there is a pretty big drop off in height after their 6'7"-6'8" center. LE would be alright size wise but I would say the athleticism of this DeSales team would win out in the end.
