Does Eastern have a make up game with Nelsonville to play yet or did they make it up?

This is the beginning of the end of a great season at eastern. We really dont care much about winning the league as long as we make a deep run in the tourney. this year we think we will be doing both so it is extra sweet. best wishes to Howie. Hopefully he can pull the trifecta against his son and hopefully DUNK 1 gets to feeling better soon.

Solid win boys! I wish I would have been able to make it up there. Bring on the Trimble/Symmes Valley winner!
Just as a question, for anyone at the game, why did Eastern only put up 4 points in the 4th? Cruise control set?

hey eastern coach try showing a little class and calling off the dogs when you are up so much, your lucky nobody got hurt, let the subs get a little playing time.

I have to agree with timeout, did you not watch the game? Eastern rotates 6-7 players and the lower bench players played most of the second half and jv kids played almost the whole 4th quarter...

I wasn't at the game but looking at the scoring by qts and the fact they only scored 4pts in the 4th ought to tell you he called the dogs off. You must not have any basketball IQ or you would realize that.

It is more about being a class act than just the points on the board. The coach yelling, questioning every call, pressing, and frankly letting his boys be very aggressive. I know you want to defend your team and your coach, but fair is fair and class is class.

As for the SV game, the final score did look bad and I feel bad for the Trimble kids, but throughout the game they fought back and came back within 10 or 12 several times, so I guess coach felt he needed to put it away for good before putting the bench back in the game.
