I love how someone has to always run their mouth. If Southern would of hit their free throws it wouldn't have been close. IF IF IF IF IF IF. When you down grade a team that beat you, what does that say about your team. I think you must not be the sharpest tool in the shed.

KrAm wrote:Yea but Copley is all I have seen for them. I watched them twice and the McMasters kid had like 25 against Fairland and Copley had like 17 or or something. But then against South Point, Copley had like 28 and a good 10-12 of them were from the foul line. He is the only real scoring threat CONSISTENTLY I see for them, and if we shut him down, I think we will be alright.

I had some time so I went back thru the Ironton tribune to show just how dumb you really are. Consistency??????

I could only find 20 games but here is the scoring for McMaster each game:
9
11
12
13
17
23
24
18
20
22
17
11
17
14
19
12
16
10
16
18

I would have to say thats pretty daggone consistent. So triple team Copley if you want cause McMaster, Kennedy, Saunders and Hintz cant hurt you
Oh, I also wrote Copley's down too cause I was curious. He had 367 points to McMaster's 319. I dont know about the one game I missed. It may be closer with that game if somebody like you Kram shut him down. And last fact I came to....McMaster was actually the leading scorer in 8 of those 20 games and him and Copley tied in 3 games. And one game neither of them was leading scorer. It was Kennedy with 20 who never touches the ball being defended by a guy who is 6'9!

Peake in a nail biter. Coach Davis' beliefs are kinda rediculous. He tells which players can shoot and which ones can't. To me thats BS a good coach will work with their players to make them at least decent shooters. Just saying.

I know Hintz can't shoot, why? Cause he isnt a shooter at all but in the offseason why didn't coach help him with that? Copley is the one everyone is looking at to shoot but we may see one of the bigmen have a greaat game.

1st Call from The Chef to the Redstreak Nation for departure to Athens on Sunday evening to attend the game against Chesapeake. The Redstreak Nation needs to be their in full force to represent the Village and the Redstreaks against this very formidable foe. Time to rally the support like last year. Waverly tournament is over and now we bear eastern on this voyage to the town of Athens. Jump aboard the Redstreak Express and cheer on the Redstreaks. Remember to wear red and bring along all your neighbors carpooling if need be. The weather is supposed to be good so there's no excuse no to get out for the support.
Again, 1st Call and Here Comes the Streaks!

Not every player has to be a big scorer to contribute. Steals and assists are just as important. How do you think the other guys score?

I was gonna make that point too conehead....I just forgot. Sorry. 9 steals by Hintz in the sectional final was huge. And if I'm not mistaken he had 6 assists. This time tomorrow we'll be on our way! Gotta see that Zane Trace game too. That should be a good game. That one and our game will be worth the price of admission. Place should be rockin even though it is on a Sunday. How long is the drive for the Redstreak Nation? From Chesapeake its 1:45. Gonna be tough for those kids to get up Monday morning after playing so hard!

2nd Call to the Redstreak Nation for attendance to the Chesapeake game. Everyone in the Village, Camp Creek, Sargents, Wakefield, Elm Grove, Smith Hill, Jasper, Givens, Zahn's Corner, and places in between need to load up the buggies and team up the mules to head to Athens for this big game and root on the Redstreaks. The boys and Coach L have worked hard this season once again and given us fans what we like in the trip to the Convo. The Redstreak Nation wil descend upon the Convo like red locusts upon ancient Egypt. Lets go Redstreaks!!!

Does anyone know if the Rockin Redstreak band will be going to the game like last season at States? It was awesome when the boys charged the floor while the Rockin Redstreaks struck up "Onward Piketon" as the Redstreak Nation sang along. P-I-K-E-T-O-N Piketon will win!!!

Here Comes the Streaks!!!

OVC Fan: The Redstreak Nation will need to travel about 1:15 to Athens give or take from where in the Redstreak Nation the departure starts from.

Take this One home to pike county streakers. I like that name better than the red streaks. You can tell coach Kelley I said that.

Sorry my computer has been out of commission or I would of been back sooner to argue with everyone...
But clearly, if you were at this game, you would of seen this. Eastern shot horrid from the field and free throw line and still only lost by 2. That's all I'm saying on that.

Buddy, did you clearly not see that I said I had only watched them twice? And if I were Coach Lisath I would double team him at times, 'cause #3 sure isn't gonna shoot the ball. If he makes 3 or 4 3's I will personally go down on the floor and tell Coach Lisath to pack it up and let's go home. But that's not gonna happen.
Kennedy is the big man, #55 I take it? But if he had 20 on a 6'9 guy, who was it? That soft 6'9 guy for Alexander? I know a 7th grader that could score 20 on him, he's terrible.
But I like how you weak conference people get on here and talk when you go thru the regular season not playing anyone.
IF 'Peake beats Piketon, it will not be because they are more talented. It will be because we take dumb shots, don't box out and rebound the ball, don't play D. It's def not because they are more talented than us.

If Peake can establish a post presence, then I will take Peake. If not then this will be a game for Piketon.

KrAm, you shouldn't be on here talking about kids on a team you've only seen twice.

Yeah cause watching them twice really gives you a good idea of the talent level. Forgot we're dealing with an aspiring ESPN analyst here. Already making excuses for losing and the game hasnt even started. Make sure you say something about the refs too KRAM. thats always the classic.
