I have my ideas...what are your thoughts on the reason for the loss?

Just one of the missed shots throughout the game, Any of them. Take your pick. 1 missed shot is all it was!

I think they lost because Ironton scored more points. ; )

Awesome joke Out of Bounds. I have to agree with Freethrow25, one more made shot and we would've won simple as that.

...or one less turnover....or one more offensive rebound...a different coaching decision, it could come down to so many things when it's that close

What coaching decision? Sounds like you have something to get off your chest. Wanted to see if others think like I do. Elaborate?

Well one thing for sure is Peebles had a player, a Sr. on the bench for the biggest part of the game. One that IMO could have done some rebounding and set some screens. He also brings with him a lot more experience. JMO What do you think bucknut53?

I totally agree...to be honest I just do not understand what the thought process was there.

Same thing happened during the game when Manchester beat them at home.

Senior leadership could have played a HUGE role in the game. Having Nathan on the bench pretty much the whole game was one mistake in my opinion.
So many could have, should haves, but this is one that I just don't get in this game!!

Cause the coach wanted him there. Do you really think he thought I'm going to keep the better kid on the bench and let the worse kid on the floor/ am sure he did what he thought was best.
Coaches make decisions that some will not agree with. Get over it you lost. Game over !!Get out the baseballs and running shoes

Correct, no sense pointing fingers now, it's over. That being said, it is what it is, whether anyone wants to see it or not. Politics are a big part of high school sports these days and unfortunately it's kids and the team that get hurt in the process.

Nobody is making you read this thread. Move on, if you don't want to comment there are plenty of other topics!

I can guarantee you that politics played no part in Nate being on the bench. Lawhorn plays who he thinks is the best fit in every situation and he coaches with practically no bias towards any player, at least not for "political" reasons. I agree wemufans, it is time to get out the baseballs and running shoes! Let's move on.

Sounds big red, like you are taking this personal. I don't really think you can guarantee anything unless you are sitting on the bench and even then maybe not. As the other poster was told, you don't have to get on this thread and you certainly don't have to comment. Feel free to get out your running shoes and move anywhere you'd like but don't profess to know everything.

I personally think yes, let's move on, especially when it involves talking about a kid...that should be a big no no. In every game, there are missed calls, missed shots, turnovers and yes, coaching blunders, none that necessarily by themselves cost a game, but all put together, effect the outcome but that is basketball. Happens every game and you can't go back after the game is over.

Maybe I'm wrong but I haven't read anything negative about any kid on this thread :122248 and no you can't go back.....but wouldn't it be great if we could :) instead we will hopefully just learn from mistakes.

Yeah, I don't see anything hurtful or big "no no's" toward a kid on here either. Just discussion on a whether a certain player spent to much time on the bench the last game and as shljunkie said earlier, the Manchester game too. I personally think he (i won't mention any names) was on the bench to much all season long. JMO

And clearly you took it personal saying that the decision was "political". But thanks for letting me know I don't have to read this thread? My OPINION is that you guys are trying to stir up trouble over a simple coaching decision? I don't know why but it seems like on every thread someone accuses another of "professing to know everything", every post made is an opinion! It is time to move on there is nothing left to talk about. I'm pumped for next season, this one is over. And all of the "hindsight being 20/20" nonsense is ridiculous. JMO!! Thanks!

FYI
If you want to move on and this to go away then you need to quit making comments because that brings it right back up to the top of the page for all of us to look at again......just like now after my comment

So GoBigRed after learning this we probably won't see you on this thread anymore being that you think it's nonsense and ridiculous.
