Didn't 3 of Easterns starters play football? Lets see, Johnson, Connery, Winebrenner, Hendrix, Pratt..Glad your statement made sense
Re: 20010/2011 TVC-Hocking
But in this case they did and Howie loves multisport athletes..as long as basketball is first priority
Re: 20010/2011 TVC-Hocking
Howie loving multisport atheletes, you are nuts. Eastern losing everything, Southern will have 1 senior. It will be between Trimble and Belpre. Fed Hock could be there but lack of coaching experience will again hurt them.

The one thing about the TVC-Hocking in 2010/2011 is that it can't get any weaker than it was this year. Eastern was good, Southern was ok and the rest battled for a very weak third place. I personally do not see it being much different next year.

I think the Tomcats will have a good season. The best returning big man in the Hocking (Guthrie) returns. They will have to step up at the gaurd spots, But I think there is a lot to look forward to at Trimble. There are some young kids in the program that will contribute, and I look for big things from Auflick. He will have to work over the summer. I believe the Hocking is really up fro grabs.

With Eastern down this upcoming year and the schools coming in, the Hocking is up for grabs. It will be fun to watch.

9 TVC Hocking teams!
1) Federal Hocking
2) Waterford
3) Trimble
4) Eastern
5) Belpre
6) Southern
7) Wahama
Miller
9) South Gallia
I can easily see the winner of the Hocking Division being 12-4 in league. I seriously doubt that any team will go 16-0 in league play. Wahama is the wild-card team, for sure...

Belpre is looking forward to next season. Even though the drive to Miller blows.
Look for coach Parsons to possibly have the most athletic team on the floor each night.
Never count out Howie. The new coach at Southern is doing a good job there as well.

Wahama will be the team to watch for, but good luck to the Rebels with a more experienced team this upcoming year.

I got two words for the TVC-Hocking, and he plays for Belpre...Rashawn Miller
Re: 20010/2011 TVC-Hocking
Belpre probably won't be very deep, but they will have talent, just gotta get them to play together..projected starters look to be Erik Waderker, Drew Nestor, Rashawn Miller, Steven Francis and Tyler Watkins if he comes out..if not then look for Brooks Sizemore to get a lot of varsity time..They will also have Dakota Hoffman, DJ Biles, Trent Gainer..and look for upcoming freshman Jake Ullman to maybe see some varsity time..other than that the other varsity spots are up for grabs with a lot of upcoming sophomores

Re: 20010/2011 TVC-Hocking
Rashawn and Waderker are going to have to step up and lead for Belpre both vocally and by example. They have the talent, again its going to be about these kids playing together and within themselves and their abilities. If Belpre can play smart basketball I think they will be tough to beat in the Hocking. Does anyone know what the Golden Eagles schedule looks like next year with 16 conference games? I assume Warren and Fort Frye will be on the schedule, shame we probably wont be battling it out with old TVC Ohio foes...

Wow your coach will have an easy job now. He won't have to pick the starters since you guys already got them picked.
