coach Robertson played Kelly, Kretzer, and Martin straight varsity from day one of thier freshman seasons- so he has no problems bringing them up if they can contribute. I think he lets players earn time wherever- so whether he plays freshman, reserve, or varsity is up to him- because Travis will do whats best for the team and he has shown his willingness to bring them up if ready in the past.

Waverly needs to focus on scoring more points per game this year.!! Having two of the best players in southern ohio they need to be getting up in the 80's in some games this season! Let them run and gun! Although its good to hold your opponents to 50. Some games its just who can score the most. Hope to see some big numbers from DA TIGERS this year!

not good at Upper Arlington better Wed at home against E. Brown and ZT- still hard to judge Tigers very well Kelly played after not practicing much due to illness and didnt go full go and Martin still not playing so it is giving a lot of kids good playing time. hopefully they will play better sat morning against Hillsboro and Wellston at the new high school. i think it starts at 10 a.m.

Waverly won. I think it was like 53 to 40 not sure. Kretzer had around 23 and Martin had 18, Kretzer also had a dunk in the first quarter ?? Took waverly awhile to get going the game was very close at half.

Was that Martin's first action of the year? He didn't play in the scrimmages Saturday. Hopefully they start jelling quickly with his return.

Give me some thoughts on who you think will be the starting 5 along with Kretzer, Martin, and Kelly.

Does anyone know the career scoring totals/per game averages for Martin and Kretzer? Was involved in a discussion here at work about this.

Career scoring leader for Waverly is Denny Thompson 1,457 points played for waverly early 70's. I dont have Harrisons or kretzers numbers i believe harrison is like 22 short of a thousand coming into this yr.

So what's the status of Harrison Martin? I understand he was in street clothes last night.

Stopped by and watched the scrimmage this morning vs Chesapeake. Good to see Harrison on the floor. Boy is Chesapeake good. That is a very impressive squad. They are athletic, tall and shoot the ball from the perimeter so well.

On a side note: I've been to a lot of scrimmages over the years and have never seen fans (Chesapeake) give the refs such a hard time. Sure hope they stock up on the blood pressure meds for the "regular season".

Dont label us all for a few bad apples! lol. There are a few of them though. Was a good scrimmage. I dont mean this in a negative way but Waverly needs to get Martin and Kretzer some scoring help. Was almost like the other kids are afraid to shoot. But a hard nosed group of kids. Hope neither of them gets hurt or fouls out....Good luck from Chesapeake.
