Affection may not be the correct term tobias.....respect would be better. The players know that Coach Arey will have expectations of them and will demand their best yet at the same time will support them 100% in doing so. He has been in the system for several years and has a committment to it. Not sure what else we can or should for that matter, ask for.

What a disappointment. My sincere empathy to the faithful and knowledgable devotees of Peebles. You have quite a quandary to the fore.
Trust your administration and there pronouncement, as this was their's and their's alone! Moreover, if results are not satifactory or as projected, maybe a complete transformation is in order! I wish you fortuity!
You used the wrong form of "their," Shakespeare.

Way to go Clown! You paid attention in 9th grade English class. One of my biggest pet peeves is when people think they need to correct someone's spelling/grammar in person or on the internet. I also hate it when a man puts his hands on a woman and when a woman thinks she can whip a man...but that's (correct use??) another matter entirely.
I remember Coach Lawhorn when he was at Rio and had some great teams. I played baseball and football with his grandson (and namesake) at Gallia Academy. I wish Peebles and Coach Lawhorn nothing but the best.

Please accept my sincere request for forgiveness my young Jedi friend. I am not a Shakespeare enthusiast and believe your remark to be one of sarcasm. If I or one of my kin were soon to be thrust into the communal spotlight, I would make use of caution when correcting others in such an acerbic manner on this or any other public round table!

If you're going to take the time to use fifty-dollar words to dress up your posts, then I'll correct your grammar as much as I want. I've passed by numerous typos, misspellings and inappropriate punctuation posted by other members. I figured that someone who takes such care with the English language wouldn't mind a little grammar reminder.

Jimmy with the "P" I have to agree with you, there are several coaches in this league and other leagues that are younger than Arey, he is a very mature 35 year old man, he's ready for this position, I can't wait to see what this year will bring! Have a good summer boys!
Re: Who will be the new Peebles coach?
Coach Arey will do a fine job of coaching boys varsity basketball at Peebles. He is ready, he has a great sense of pride and work ethic. He also has a strong compassion for Peebles basketball and cares very much for his players. At the same time he will demand the hard work that it takes to be the best player possible. I agree time will tell, but I am very confident that most Peebles fans will be very pleased with the success that Coach Arey will bring to the program. Give the man a chance, I believe he will prove himself to be very worthy of the position.
Re: Who will be the new Peebles coach?
Sounds like he's putting together a good crew around him as well. I heard Tim Frederick, former coach at Peebles, is coming back to Assist Coach Arey
