South Webster all the way. Will be tough. They wont be sneakin' up on anyone this year. Teams will be ready for them. Have to figure out how to play against the zone this year.   . I have never seen a team struggle against the zone the way that team did last year. Blows my mind.

Agreed all the way JM, SW will be a scrappy team this season. I think they'll learn from the mistakes made last year. GO Jeeps!

South Webster is Coached by Steven Ater. He played and coached under Stormin Norman. Also spent time as a student manager (i think was his title) at Ohio State and Graduate Assistant (again I think this was his title) at Marshall. Very good coach that brings alot of energy.

No doubt webster should be good this season. If they can beat the zone this year, look out. Im sure they can outrun or match everyones speed and hustle. I'll say 4/5 starters are always a 3 point threat as well. Austin Loop has grown a lot since last season too. can't wait for the 7th

those who put webster 5th, you must have something against them because they deserve 3rd at the worst

Does anyone know if the JV teams play in the Beast of the Southeast Tournament on Saturday, January 15th at Chesapeake?

1-3 oak hill , burg, waverly any order
4-5 webster, valley either way one of the two could move up to 3 but no higher
6-8 minford, northwest, west i think this is the best for these 3
i could b very wrong but just going with wat i saw at previews

If the first 3 are in no order and Valley/Webster could both move up to number 3 (and remember, number 3 could be ANY of Burg, Waverly, and Oak Hill) how can you say they could possibly not move any higher? If they could be above Burg, or Waverly, or Oak Hill how can you say they could not be above Burg, AND Waverly, AND Oak Hill? Not saying I think Valley and/or South Webster will be in the top 3, just pointing out some failed logic. LOL

Did you forget that webster beat Burg twice, beat Waverly at waverly, and put up a good game with Oak Hill the second time. Ondera is gone. Derek Roeback is gone. Bendolph is gone. There are 4 teams that could do it. not to mention the role that injuries can play...

True but Webster lost some talent also. Jeeps will be very good but there's a number of good teams in the SOC II.

This is going to be a fun year of basketball. The SOC titles will have to be earned this year. I would not even turn my back of West. Not saying they will win it, but they have some really nice athletes and could possibly cause some problems for the front runners this year. But I still like my Jeeps, especially with Coach Cole back on the bench. Welcome back Coach Cole.
