A good start is so important for any team playing in a regional final.......last night, Clay fell behind 15-2 and had to fight really hard to get back in the game.......but a team uses so much energy climbing out of a big hole it becomes really tough for them to maintain that energy. I can't emphasize enough how important it is for the Vikings to start well, to put some doubt in Eastmoor's mind and to give VC a boost of confidence. That can carry over to the rest of the game.

I am very impressed with Eastmoor. They don't fit the stereotype that sometimes us white people (not all but..)
try to attach a team like Eastmoor. They are disciplined and smart and patient to go along with athletic and long and deep. I sat in their section Thursday and enjoyed listening and interacting with some of their parents. Most of the mothers understand the game as much as or more than most fans

If Vinton County wins today they will definitely have earned their way to Columbus.
