The Eastern Brown game may well not be an upset. Eastern's offense relies heavily on one player who scored over half of their points.

Eastern's offense does not rely only on one player to score, I don't know what team you are watching. They have two scorers and the the game last night showed who the key to that team is in Chase Lawson. He went out in the first quarter with at the time was believed to be a broken ankle and from there it all went down hill with only Jordan left to carry the team. Those two are a potent two when on the court together but with Chase sitting out of the game it was too much for Jordan to handle. I'm not taking anything away from the Green Devils because no matter what Dave has the boys ready to play and he finds a way to win with what he has but without Chase the Warriors will struggle!

How bad is his injury? Will he be out for many, if any, games?

Last night was the first time I've seen Eastern play and since the injury happened early in the game my statement is pretty accurate. Given that in the first 2 games Eastern scored 36 and 52 points respectively I'm not sure how accurate your statement is given they scored 50 last night. Maybe he has more impact on the defensive end since last night they gave up 64 points as opposed to the 32 and 26 points respectively in the first 2 games.

Mna, I'm sorry to hea about Lawson. I hate when players get hurt...especially something like that. Is this his senior year?

I cant speak for anyone else but im pumped for this friday! The league leaders in both conferences(Peebles/Ripley), and the only two undefeated teams in the league, go head to head at Peebles to keep each team's hopes of a gold ball alive. Plus North Adams plays a winnable game against Fairfield to possbily give Dave Young his 400th win as a varsity head coach.

would of been 3 undefeated teams in the league if hounds hadnt been screwed by the refs at the convo..in the peebles/ripley game its gonna be a close game but i see ripley winnin by 10 or less due to their speed at the guard positions

I personally think Peebles plays at just as fast a pace as Ripley but im obviously a little biased :-D. It should be a really good game but i'll take Peebles on their home court by 7.

Agreed...this game shouldnt be decided by more than 10pts either way.

Peebles and Ripley should be a fun game to watch. Wish it was on a different night. I am still gonna have to go watch Coach Young try for number 400.

how many seniors get meaningful playing time for peebles and ripley? is there a site somewhere that lists team rosters? the cincinnati paper used to do it but i have not seen anything on there this year.
