Sounds like....just a sliver of hope for the Redskins, BUT, thats why we play the game....they said, back when the peach basket was hung on the barn wall.

Rosecrans is tough but beatable. Still very very good. Positive is Caldwell didn't show much as Morris/Sayre/Croucher were all extremely sick and tried to play through it. Caldwell also played man the majority of the time and was in a lot of foul trouble, nearly blew the double figure lead (and the score keeper who kept putting up the wrong score didn't help either) but held on. Survive and advance. Nothing to lose in the next game. Get to see what it's all about.

Rosecrans has a group of 4 Jrs that have started for 3 years. They alos have one of the best sophmores in the state in Jacob Phillis.Last seasons they came in to FF started all sophmores and freshman and won by 27.This mountain is really tall.

Final score from Barnesville in the Consolation Game of the OVAC tourney:

River 75

Barnesville 65

River played without senior Jordan Potts, who is nursing an injury and trying to stay healthy for the sectional final; AND senior Zack Wax who played only about 8 mins. all game due to foul trouble; AND senior Tucker Brown who got banged up a little early in the second qtr. and never returned (as a precaution).

Great win for the Pilots, senior Tyler Stewart and soph Brett Price stepped up big, while senior Sam Ramsier also went for double digits for River. Pilots' sophomores as a group played ptp minutes tonight and shined.

Big win Barnesville is not bad at all even tho they have bad losses.I figured they would pound River inside.

Soph Brett Price is a nice defensive player. Once he gets his shot down he'll be a regular. Shoulda been playing more this season IMHO.

How bad was Tucker hurt? he's tough as nails. Don't take BPT lightly coaches. Too much muscle inside for Pilots so make those shots count.

Ohio State? Hopefully they make it to at least the Sweet 16. Something tells me March Madness will be sheer madness in Columbus.
