If Peebles comes out and plays their game, manchester doesn't have a chance. Not taking anything away from manchester but Peebles is much better......Indians by 12

+1 PHSfan14, Peebles has the advantage at 4 starting spots. And a big advantage in bench play.....Go Indians.

Re: SHL Scores and Standings Week #3
Blevins may have been first team all-state but Jake Daniels is the biggest opponent he has had to play against this season and he will make Blake earn everything he gets. Jake has played right with some big men around the area that people think are college caliber post players(Dion McKinley[Some smaller schools, he will get more looks in the next year and a half], Malik London[Wake Forest, West Virginia, Ohio State, Xavier, Indiana]). With that being said I think that tuesday's game will be the closest we have played to this point this season though.2026 wrote:+1 PHSfan14, Peebles has the advantage at 4 starting spots. Manchester is easily one of the best teams Peebles will play this year. An anything less than a great effort and they will lose, but I like their chances Indians by 9.

Re: SHL Scores and Standings Week #3
In my personal opinion both Peebles and Manchester has to be on their "A" game. Neither one can afford to make too many mistakes.
For Peebles to win
-Don't allow offensive boards.
-Don't turn it over
-Stay out of foul trouble
-Move the ball and don't force shots
-Hit the boards hard
-Play solid defense
-Make Manchester play half-court
For Manchester to win
-Dont turn it over.
-Defense is where it starts.
-Stop the Peebles transition game.
-Stay out of foul trouble especially Blake and Combs.
-Push the ball and control the momentum of the game.
-Box Out and don't allow too many 2nd chance points.
-Don't force shots.
If they both do all these things then it should be a good game. I say the game will be decided by free throws so the team that fouls the least gets the win.

Re: SHL Scores and Standings Week #3
I would have to say that Manchester's bench came up bigger than Peebles bench did.
