Hard fought game by both teams. Very good win for the Panthers. I didn't care much for the officiating but it was probably an emotional game for them to call also. I don't think the game would have been as close as it was if Ironton hadn't been sent to the line as much. As for Carter, he is a player, don't think he has to be as cocky as he is but that's the way things are today. Again a very nice win, but lets get ready for Wheelersburg now. At their place this will be another tough test for the Peake.

Actually it was a Foul fest with Ironton committing 20 and Chesapeake 22.

Ironton was 19-28

Chesapeake was 14-21

Buckeye, most of the Panthers freethrows came in the last half of the 4th quarter when Ironton had to foul. With the exception of Carter scoring a few buckets, they had basically no field goals the second half.

The last 3:06 of the game:

Ironton was.........7-7 from the foul line
Chesapeake.........5-9 from the foul line

Someone needs to show those refs the difference between a foul and defense.

I can never remember any team ever bearing ironton when they get out scored they get cheated by the refs everytime. I hate it for the town fans that don't blame the refs after every loss. Chesapeake is the best around se Ohio. And Carter very nice player. Talked to his mother befor his freshman year and she said he was very good and she was right.

I don't think anyone was blaming the refs, it was a physical game and it was called that way both ways, simple as that.

Chesapeake had 22 fouls and Ironton had 20 fouls, looks like the refs were consitant in their foul calling all the way to the end of the game.

I hope we get a chance to meet again down the road, would be another great game IMO.
