I think Peebles made a good case for atleast deserving of an "8" spot or higher tonight in beating a very good Manchester team at home tonight 84-60. Justice came up big again leading all scorers with 36.

CHesapeake just beat Rock Hill by 60 w/out their top scorer playing due to illness.
BTW, led 57-8 at the half.

Who am I putting down? I said their top scorer didn't play, which is fact. I made the point they won by 60 despite the fact that their top scorer was not playing. I did it to build a case, just as Portsmouth fans want to build their case when their top players are out. Fair is fair.
Maybe you shouldn't apply double standards when someone pulls the same strategy on you

It's called debating, and if someone makes a point, and I make a counter point, then it is all fair as long as done respectfully imo. That is what debate is about, trying to win the conversation or at the minimum get your point across.
I get the point that Portsmouth is a different team without a certain player, and without our main scorer, we still were able to beat our opponent by 60. If somehow I offended someone with my logic, well, come up with better logic.
BTW, Rock Hill beat Gallia by 3, you beat them by 5. Just for those who are going to say how awful RH is, and they may be true, at least it is food for thought.

You can pretty much take the argument of how much you beat a team by and how much another team did to compare both teams and throw it out the window.
There are so many factors involved in sports, how does both teams mathc up. Do both have similar philosophies on O and D and style of play. How deep is 1 team to the other. Was there illnesses, injuries? Personal tragedies, or something bad at home?
I could go on and on, but you get the point.

Eagles,
I don't disagree, I have seen this same formula used against the Peake, so I thought I would flip the script so to speak.

West beat Minford

Valley beat Oak Hill
Burg beat West, Minford and Valley, but lost to Oak Hill.....
Yes we shall see.
You have beat one team who is now a 5-6 loss team and we are all supposed to be so impressed. Congrats you beat Ironton, we have now beaten them twice.
Portsmouth was what 7th last week, and now they are 1st, I don't buy it. Again, I'll judge Portsmouth when they play Chili.
let the Judging begin
I think that is 7 in a row with Andrew Bendolph back
