Symmes Valley @ Clay 01-28-11
Re: Symmes Valley @ Clay 01-28-11
WWH kind of funny saying that rocky made a Monday morning observation even thought this is Sunday. So they made 2 out of their last 6 in 3 point shots to end the game 2-21. If they would have taken all those shots as 2 point shots they only had to make 3 to have the same points. Rocky is right you will not win that many games shooting 3-36 in games. Those games were losses. Trainer may not be stupid but if the object is to win the game and the 3 point shots are not falling then a higher percentage shot is what is needed to win the game. But if you like to watch a team throw up 3 point shots at 8% the last 2 games then enjoy more losses to come. Then you can give your observation on any day to ignore the bad 3 point shooting percentage as it will not change the outcome of the game.

I was only using his type logic to show how easy it is to make those statements and insinuations after the game has been played. "Monday morning" is just a saying. I don't care what day it is.

Farmer, I was actually at both games, so I can tell you that in the New Boston game they missed most of those shots early in the game when they had the lead, and after they fell behind and needed desperately to hit a three, they didn't take any. The Symmes Valley game, they missed their first 15, but towards the end of the game, when they needed threes, the went back to them and did hit 2 of 6, but it was too little too late. As they say, you live and die by the three point shot, and the past 2 losses, they have died by them. They were shooting near 40% as a team, I suspect that had dropped to around 25% now.farmer wrote:WWH kind of funny saying that rocky made a Monday morning observation even thought this is Sunday.
