Re: South Webster vs Oak Hill 1-27
MOF is right here. It really doesn't matter if they would have another loss going into the tournament draw or the drawing as someone said above. That sectional is so loaded that they will end up being around the middle of the pack and will ahve to play one of the top teams no matter what.
We rarely play if school has been cancelled. I can only think of a handful of times that we have played when school was cancelled so this did not surprise me.

as for injuries, yes there is an injury but whether they would have played tonight or several weeks down the road, I doubt that player will be back any time soon.

Feb 15th in cutting it close. A few more bad weather days and some of these teams are going be playing make up games during tournament play.
Re: South Webster vs Oak Hill 1-27
The drawing for sectionals is the 13th of February, just happens the make up game is scheduled two days later. The league needs to have an assigner to tell Norm when he will play, or any other coach who wants to play that way. Last year Waverly wanted to play the night before the drawing, Oak Hill had an open date, but Norman knew that game could be a potential loss so he decided not to play until later. The South Webster game last year was postponed during the first week of
January, couldn't find an available date until after OH was eliminated from the State tourney. One day you Oak Hill fans will see what we see from the other side. Yet, we will remain cry babies until you do.

Losing two as opposed to losing 3 or 4 could possibly be a big difference as to where you are seeded.MightyOaksFan wrote:MOF is right here. I agree where you are seeded will change with more losses but what I am saying is that the sectional is so loaded that it doesn't matter where you are seeded you will still have to play at least one tough game to get out of there. Hence our game last year.
Waverly and now South Webster talk big for teams that haven't beaten Oak Hill since 2007.

one day the talent will dry up in oak hill... but it never will in Jackson and Vinton
Re: South Webster vs Oak Hill 1-27
There are 5 really good teams in the Jackson sectional. 4 teams go to the district, which means that the 4-5 seed will be a tough game and the others should show up in
Athens.
Athens.

MOF,
The fact of Waverly or South Webster not beating Oak Hill has nothing to do with what we see looking from this side. Most people are going to "defend" their side but at least understand what we see without us being cry babies, lol.

I didn't realize I was talking big. HMMMMMMMMM. HOW ABOUT THIS?
We would have just liked to play the game last night----LIKE EVERYONE ELSE IN SOUTHERN OHIO DID!

Game Postponed til 2/15
No, I didn't. My bad.
I can't believe Oak Hill cancelled this game when every other school in the area played.
Re: South Webster vs Oak Hill 1-27
Not much of what Oak Hill does lately makes sense to the rest of us.

I have been on the huddle/preps for 10 years now and I really think that the level of people on these sites has reached an all-time low.
I will say this again to see if you can understand the words coming out of my mouth. I will even say it really slow for you.
Oak Hill did not have school. They do not usually play games when they do not have school.

Re: South Webster vs Oak Hill 1-27
how does "Do not usually play games' clear up everything. If you said "they never play games" I could see it, but you left it up to interpretation, which is exactly what everyone is complaining about, no matter how slow you say it.MightyOaksFan wrote:I have been on the huddle/preps for 10 years now and I really think that the level of people on these sites has reached an all-time low.

MOF: If Oak Hill has a NO School NO Play policy then so be it. Nothing to complain about. We would simply have enjoyed playing the game. I believe that this thread is similar to ones that have been around for a long time---no different---and you took a shot at Waverly and South Webster with a comment as well to which I responded to.
It is funny to me when people take their last shot or comment and then say they won't post on this thread again. It is a way to say "I am getting the last word, and I win." "My comments are more responsibly written than all of yours and I am not posting again because I will not be brought down to your level............." (even though I will very sarcastically write slowly and accuse you of talking big)
Side note: This posting was written at regular speed---use as directed.

Re: South Webster vs Oak Hill 1-28
well well well.. with Canon out for the season I'll take the Jeeps again when this game is played, whenever that may be Josh Wright isnt that tall but he's been bangin' the boards hard the past few games and becoming another scoring option.
Re: South Webster vs Oak Hill 1-28
Thanks for the info on the wright boy sure to try to keep him off the boards anymore info on there offense?
