2-1 Fairland @ River Valley
This game was pretty competitive in Proctorville with Fairland pulling away at the end.
Could have major ramifications on the Athens Sectional draw.
Thoughts on the rematch?

That is an amazing number, one thing about that stat that can be deceiving south Point is a total perimeter oriented team,3 or nothing!earp wrote:Dragons playing pretty well right now!Just hope we keep up the hot shooting and strong rebounding!Fairland outrebounded South Point 54-17 friday night that is HUGE!
They very seldom leave a guy on the inside to rebound, their biggest guy is what 6-1 or 6-2,he plays on the edge.
River Valley has a way of getting Fairland in foul trouble or they have the last few games against the Dragons. If they are patient on offesne and make Fairland guard i think it's close!

Proven fact, missed 3's are often long rebounds. Meaning, it is not as important to have someone "on the inside" if your are missing from close range.Rvbballdude wrote:That is an amazing number, one thing about that stat that can be deceiving south Point is a total perimeter oriented team,3 or nothing!earp wrote:Dragons playing pretty well right now!Just hope we keep up the hot shooting and strong rebounding!Fairland outrebounded South Point 54-17 friday night that is HUGE!

Good luck Raiders. With games against Fairland and Meigs this is a big week for tournament seeding.

Fairland wins 61-51 in a game much closer than the final score, talk about an intense floor burn fest.
Fairland has gotten better seem more under control than early in the year, they will be favored to make it to the Convo.
Raiders didn't handle the pressure well at all tonight played hard and a game to work off of. Really need to cut down on the turnovers not normally a big problem for them.
Good win Dragons congrats.
Don't know what the rebounding numbers are i bet they were close!

Makes sense then to abandon all fundamentals and not send people to the boards on 3's i guessRaiderball wrote:Proven fact, missed 3's are often long rebounds. First you say "they seldom leave a guy on the inside to rebound" now you are changing tunes and "sending people to the boards."
Maybe we are saying the same thing just in a different way. Not worth arguing bout though. Next time you're at a game though, watch where those missed 3's are rebounded.
