RIPLEY@PEEBLES?
Re: RIPLEY@PEEBLES?

Re: RIPLEY@PEEBLES?
This was a well played game by both teams. It felt to me like they didn't let the guards from ripley play as physical as they let the guards from peebles play. Lots of touch fouls for ripley. Dont get me wrong, peebles guards played a lot better overall. The big kid for peebles wa the difference in the first half, but played a solid game overall. He helps them out a lot. If they could have got him in foul trouble (which I thought he gets away with a lot of contact, and A LOT of illegal screens) ripley could have made a better game of it. My hats off to Justice and Washington tonight. Lots of good scoring. Just my opinion from a fan of both teams.
Re: RIPLEY@PEEBLES?
I have to feel a little sad for Ripley. No gold ball this year. Two really great teams good luck in tourney play!!

WOW! Great game between the top two teams in the SHL. Everyone for both teams came out and played hard the entire time. Blake led Peebles in scoring with 38 followed by Andy with 15, Trent with 11(Had a triple double in pts/rebs/assists), and Jake with 8(8rebs,5blks,3stls). I was impressed with Ripley's tenacity toward the end as well. The fought back from 18??? down to cut the lead to 10 after some clutch shooting from downtown. I feel bad for Ripley not being able to win the gold ball, especially to lose this late in the season, because every Peebles fan knows the feeling. This was an important win for the Indians as they remain one game ahead of Manchester for the league title with two games remaining against North Adams(have started playing much better of late) and Lynchburg Clay(Still kind of a mystery to me.....would be awesome for Blake to break the SHL scoring mark against Cluxton's old team on senior night...he only needs 36pts to pass Cluxton).

Re: RIPLEY@PEEBLES?
There was quite a few that went Ripley's way as well. The officials let Ripley get away with a lot of contact under the basket. Overall it was a great game....exciting with both teams trading blows for most of the game. Im sure the majority of fans in attendance got their money's worth.streetballer wrote:a really great game but there was quite a few calls that went peebles way

A triple double?! Thats amazing and that is coming out of a sophomore. Great job Trent. And for Blake and the SHL scoring record well if he gets it on that night, that will make two great and historic weeks for Peebles basketball. Congrats to the two teams for a great game tonight.TribeManiac10 wrote:Peebles Freshmen-41
