Great draw for Peebles...how about March 12 at the Convo? That will be a great day of basketball with five potentially great games...Possible Peake vs Piketon matchup, Peebles and Ironton could have a rematch from last years district final game that ended on a LONG 3 at the buzzer from Ironton. Could see Portsmouth there this year...cant wait

Portsmouth will without any doubt make the Final 4....but only if all Trojan fans pay $2 at Jackson to park....I fear some won't and cost the Trojans in the long run.

Portsmouth sure got a heck of a draw with fairland having the one seed in their side of the bracket. The two seed was definitely good for Portsmouth.

I feel like Chesapeake is the best team in the Jackson Sectional, but I also think Portsmouth got the better draw. The Trojans should have a walk to Regionals while Peake would have to beat a very good Piketon team to win the District title.

I really like the fact that Valley got the #5. I think playing the Burg, despite the fact they have beaten us twice, gives us the best chance to advance to the Districts. We have serious matchup issues with Chesy and Ptown, had we gotten the 6-7 seed.

trojandave is correct...a loss is more then a los,in post season...it is the end of your season...you have to prepare for each game , and be ready for some tough batles.

Agreed. On paper, Portsmouth should easily win that district. When was the last time Portsmouth won their sectional?

Portsmouth last won a sectional in 2004.......in all, the Trojans have won a SE District record 58 sectional titles, to go along with a record 34 district titles.......the last district title was in 2001, when PHS beat Warren 65-54 for the D2 final.
