Strongly disagree with this..

You do realize that 2100 point scorer and divsion 1 signee Blake Justice is in SEO right? and I also think the copley kid from peake is better,

Austin McMaster is better as well imo, as is Dion and Z. Carter.

Good deal...I thought that was strange that everyone was saying he was around the 20ppg mark and then it said 13 lol.

Drew Dollich should have made it.
I am shocked not to see him mentioned at all. Yea NA didnt have a great year but averaging 17ppg and probably 5 or 6 rebounds a game and you dont even get a special mention?

Peake,I"m just getting back to you on the statement you made a couple of days ago, that i was a relative of Nathan Copley or a girl friend.Well I guess you were wrong,I"m just a dedicated Panther fan of many years.Nathan was player of the year, but this could have been Austin or Colin either one.I noticed you did"t comment on Coach Davis being Coach of the year. Now you need to quit being two faced ,and either talk positive about the PANTHERS or keep quit .If you evaluate talent for a living, don"t quit your night job yet.

Peake hoops,

You continue to make turn this thing into a p*ssing match. Why I have no clue. I have nothing bad to say about Nathan and you are not going to bait me into saying anything bad about him. I am very happy for Nathan and I have been a huge fan of his since he was 6. I have spent years at all-star, junior high, and high school games close to him and his family. I like his family a lot and really think the world of Nathan. The most impressive thing about Nathan is his performance in the classroom. I am very happy for him, the players, and the coaches.

How am I being two faced? I haven't said a single word about Coach Davis all season long besides nice things. Coach Davis is an excellent coach, I am glad he is our coach. I didn't say anything because I didn't feel the need to. HE deserved it and I don't think there was any debating it.

*** I think you need to shut your mouth and stop starting things. I disagreed about Nathan and that's fine. You are the one that started insulting people saying you have seen him for this many games, and that makes you qualified over me, blah blah blah.****

I am happy for the Panthers, I am one, one who enjoyed and still enjoys Chesapeake Basketball. I played for Chesapeake, I worked my tail off for Chesapeake, so before you lecture me on what I need to do, you need to cheer on our team, be united with the fan base and stop insulting people from your own fan base because they don't agree with you.

You also need to go back and learn to read. This was also in my post a few days ago.
I could be wrong and it wouldn't be the first time. If Nathan is the POY I will be extremely happy for him and he will be well deserving.

I can't believe only one player from Clay, Nathan Burchette, made the DIV All District team on the 2nd team. Nate definitely deserved to be on there, but where are Delotell, Bussler, and Valentine? Evidently their great coach (insert sarcasm here) failed to nominate them or they would at the very least made Honorable Mention. Jack Trainer is a joke and a piss poor coach if he doesn't think those 3 boys deserved to be nominated. What a slap in the face to 3 seniors who played their rearends off for him.

Evan Legg is a real good player. I'm not sure he's even the best player in Pike County, let alone the entire District.

Kretzer has another year left and to me he gets stronger and more athletic every year. I think before its all said and done he will have a lot of NAIA, D2, and a few D1 offers to comtemplate.

Valentine got All District Honorable Mention. It said so in the Portsmouth Daily Times yesterday.

He has D1 offers from James Madison, Gardner-Webb, Miami-OH, and Albany that I know of. Sources say that he is also drawing some interest from Ohio U., Boston College, and Ball State. There is a rumor going around that he was also thinking about Akron...not sure on its validity though. Would be kind of interesting to have him on the same team as Blake Justice.

I'm not sure who's offering Kretzer and who's not. I do know he did go on a visit to Boston College. I'm a huge fan of him and Justice both at Akron. That would be a nice 2-3 combo for Akron.

Burg Grad You have listed above the AP all-district team. I don't think coaches nominate for the AP team.

Halftime is referring to the Coaches all-district team which was in the Portsmouth Times this week too. Coaches do nominate players for that team and I think Trainer did what you are accusing him of not doing........

I wish you would really tell us how you feel about Coach Trainer though.............
