I would love to see our rivals win this, but Chillicothe could almost name the score.

Circleville has some very athletic players and has a couple of solid post players. They can't shoot from the outside and they don't play great defense and don't have anyone that can match up with Ragland. It's going to take a heck of an effort from the Tigers and a poor performance by the Cavs for Circleville to get the win tomorrow night.

Cavs by 21

Chillicothe is up 2 with 4 minutes left. London has fouled out.

heard from a courtside observer that Chilli got some favorable calls to win this one. Survive and advance i guess. interested to hear from some of the chilli fans in attendance why they were apparently so flat.

Chilly got some calls..? Dont know about that...Malik fouled out and Tyler had 4 fouls...got to give Circleville alot of credit....Chilly struggled from the free throw line all game....eventhough Circleville needs credit Chilly plays to the level of their competition and it almost bit them in the arse...survive and advance is what it is...Chilly will be alright,no question! Go Cavs...!

I love these kind of quotes. I guess they only wanted to name a 2 point win.

Great effort by Cirvleville.

Chillicothe plays to the competition far too much for what they have. Who knows how far they'll go.

First of all, this time of year is called "survive and advance". Second of all I don't think to many of the SEOAL teams think the Cavs play to their competition (see ironman92 quote above). The Cavs took care of business by double digits in 11 of 14 league contests. Many by 20 or more.

Now for the game....give credit to Circleville for taking a cavalier punch and getting back up. The 1st qtr was all Cavs as it ends 15-4. After that foul trouble, turnovers, missed free throws hurt the Cavs.

First half saw Cavs miss 8 sure shots in the paint. Combined with Circleville knocking down free throws it was Cavs 25-18 at the half.

Third quarter much of the same as London sits with 4 fouls and Manion going in and out with 3 before finally getting his 4th. End of 3rd has it 34-33 Cavs. Circleville did finally get in team foul trouble as Ragland and company started going to hole strong. However, Cavs were undone tonight with poor free throw shooting. Tigers go 15-22 for game while Cavs go 6-16 with multiple misses on the front end of one and ones.

4th quarter is gut check time as the Tigers take the lead and hit seemingly every shot the put up. However Ragland matched that by continually getting to the rim and scoring to finish with a game high 21 points. Game came down to making shots late and turnovers. A big steal by Zach Johnson and subsequent layup by Manion got it done. Cavs played great defense on Tigers last position to force two tough three balls

Cavs win and advance so this side of the bracket gets a Ross County matchup to see who advances to the Convo. Hot one in Richmondale Sat night.

A few quick stats that I can see.

Circleville

42% from field and 0-3 from 3 ball. Clearly not an outside shooting team

68% on Free Throws. 15-22

17 turnovers and 16 fouls

Chillicothe

40% from field with 2 3 balls

37% from Free Throw line

13 turnovers

Ragland. 21 points and 5 rebounds

London. 8 points 10 rebounds and 7 block shots. Fouled out with 4 plus minutes to go

Klinebrill and Kiser led Circleville with 14 and 12 respectively

Tough to see the Tigers go down in this one. They played a very good game, especially after the first quarter. They played an aggressive game. As for calls, it probably depends on which side you are on. I thought there was a couple that went Chilli's way in the fourth quarter.

Congrats to the Circleville seniors on finishing the season strong. And congrats to the Cavaliers on the win.

So I guess I was the only one to think Chillicothe would win big  . I was wrong, correct. But I highly doubt many thought Circleville would only lose by 3.

Congrats to Circleville for your first tourney win in 7 years and the effort against Chillicothe.

Congrats to the Cavs for the win.
