Re: Chesapeake vs Wellston 3/6
I would love to see them seed them 1-32 and do the pod seeding like they do in the other Districts. Imagine how incredibly bottom heavy Chesapeake's run would be, LOL.

Chesapeake vs Wellston
Chesapeakes varsity aged players versus Wellstons JV aged group. Wellston had some District tourney success in the late 80,s and early and mid 90,s. This is the seventh title under Coach Derrow. They haven,t been to the Districts since 2003. Honestly, most of these current players have never even been to the Convo to watch a game. This would be a big upset if Wellston pulls this off. This young group of players have improved every game. Most observers thought they would win two or three games. Congrats you are in the District. Now, the pressure is all on Chesapeake, go do your best and most fans other than Chesapeakes are behind you. I for one think that you will do just fine. What a great story. You beat some really good teams along the way, let's add another one to the list. Anything can happen, that's why you play the game. Go Rockets!

Beat VC with Osborne playing.
Not sure of their best win without him.

They beat the Vikings on their home floor by one, with Osborne playing. However, the Vikings beat the Rockets by 34 in McArthur. Now, early in the preseason Chesapeake beat the Vikings by 34. So there you have it, Chesapeake by 67, but I am rooting for the Rockets, I would like to see the TVC do well.

No prediction, just hope the Wellston all the best in the world. You are the underdog in this one, so you are not pressured in this one. Just go out and give it your best. That is all anyone can ask. Win or lose, you have made great strides this year. Good Luck

Re: Chesapeake vs Wellston 3/6
It has happened in the past. In the mid-1970s, Waverly, under legend coach Hawhee, finished regular season play at 20-0, but was upset in its first tournament game by an unranked team. At the SEOAL meeting the following Sunday, he apoligized to league schools for the untimely loss.
