I never mentioned anything about conference play or common opponents, i just added that Valley beat them bad for some comparison. They can try to shut down Loop and Scott... but they won't shut down both of them on the same night. Plus there are 3 other guys who could score 15 points on any night. Every thread about the tournament says the regular season doesn't matter. thats nonsense. Look who is still alive and look at what they did in the regular season...

I do agree that Scott and Loop wil be the best players on the floor. If the Eagles can slow down one of them I think it will be a competitive game. My heart says Eagles by 2 and my brain says Jeeps by 12. Hope my heart is right!

You would be surprised by the teams who lose in tournaments. Anything can happen. Oak Hill's girls are ranked #1 in D3 and needed OT w/ a last second 3 to defeat Zane Trace. So nobody should be so quick to count out a talented and athletic Eagles team. Good luck to both teams!!!

SWbaseballfan: if they didn't have the subs in by half against Notre Dame, doubtful they'll be able to do so against Beaver Eastern. I think Webster is the favorite without a doubt, but still think Beaver Eastern is capable of the upset if the Jeeps don't show up or go cold ala Racine Southern game last year.*

Anyone know when the last time Eastern won a game at the Convo and made the District Finals? I believe the last District title for the Eagles was in 1990 but was wandering when the last time they made the District championship game?

Travel safely! First game tonight should be a good one between Fairfield and Reedsville Eastern. Fairfield will have more talent and Reedsville will be better coached and more disciplined. Look for Reedsville to take a few charges and keep the game close.
